God's plan for Adam and Eve was to live forever and fill the earth with perfect people to worship Him. Adam and Eve failed, so God started over with Jesus as the new seed. Jesus gave His life in order to repopulate the earth with perfect people in His own image. He couldn't come in 1844 because the crop wasn't mature for the harvest. Perfection means holy hearts, not holy flesh. Surrendering our hearts to perfection is up to us. Changing our vile bodies to sinless flesh is up to Him, in a moment at His coming. "And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself as he is pure."
