The Power of a Mother's Prayer

Posted by

Experience the wonder of remarkable answers to prayer, given because a mother dared to pray.

With her world turned upside down through a crisis in her daughter's life, Phillippa M. Turner turned to God and the Scriptures and discovered how intercessory prayer changes lives and restores relationships.

Join her on her journey that took her from disappointment to delight, anger to acceptance, and frustration to fulfillment. Witness how the Holy Spirit immersed her in the presence of God to radiate His mercy and grace to her daughter and others, transforming lives and showing them that God is eager for His children to bring all their needs to Him in prayer.

Phillippa M. Turner lives in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She earned her AS degree from Shorewood Teacher's Collage in Jamaica. Her passion for molding lives during the formative years allowed her to experience joy when her kindergarten read fluently after their first year in school.

She holds her BSN from New York University School of Nursing. She worked as a Public Health Nurse and Supervisor. Both roles allowed her to work within the community to improve the overall health of the area.

Similarly, her desire is interceding on behalf of others, especially family in crisis to improve their overall spiritual health to fit them for heaven. A volunteer prayer warrior for 3ABN, she prays over hundreds of prayers request every week. She also agonizes over the SDA World Church United in Prayer, weekly prayer request. She coordinates the annual 10 Days of Prayer at her local church.

Her passion for prayer and understanding the function of the Holy Spirit in changing lives allows her to present seminars locally, and in England with Pastor Samuel Telemaque.

In addition to prayer ministry, Phillippa's life has been transformed by mission. She has been blessed with the opportunity to travel with Maranatha Volunteer International to Ghana and Panama and Quiet Hours Ministry to Cuba.

She enjoys reading, especially literature on prayers. Family is the dearest thing to her. Therefore, she spends time with family and friends at the beach and the park.
