In Comfort Ye My People, the author shares her years of research and study with readers. She outlines the correlations and similarities she discovered among the fall of Adam and Eve, the sanctuary, and Christ's life and death on the cross and how that relates to our Christian experience. Although we are sinners, because of Christ's sacrifice, we can be assured of salvation. Unfortunately, many Christians struggle with this concept due to the overwhelming guilt that Satan places upon them. This book presents a clear vision of the gift of salvation from the beginning of earth's history through the Exodus and Jesus' ministry.

How could Christ be born of a woman, with the enmity in his flesh, and yet not sin? Can He really meet us where we are in our sins even though he was divine? Can divinity suffer death without really dying? Is Christ the perfect example of what we must do, and yet be the substitute for what we cannot do? What is to be "put off" and what is to be "put on?" What in us is to be "rendered idle" and what is to be "awakened?" What does it mean to die and yet live, to be put to death and yet rise again sanctified? What is true saving faith and how does it work? What is secret prayer and why is it so necessary? How does Christ move from being the Savior of the world to being my personal Savior? Can I really have the assurance of salvation? These questions and many more are dealt with and answers are found within the pages of this book.

  1. As an avid reader, I can say that this is a very good book!

I read profusely, and as any other avid reader knows, books fall into many broad categories of interest. But there are those few books that fall into the category of "special" or "favorite". I feel that way about "Comfort Ye.." and the primary reason for so regarding it is the fact that it meets the criterion for a "very good" book and that criterion is that it sent me to my knees.

  2. Ms. Cleveland-Tepper knows her stuff.

For the Christian who wants to probe the deepest relationship with his Savior, who wants to hear it from him first-hand, she has planned out a route. It is worth the journey.
